This journey not only offers devotees the rare sight of Om Parvat, where the natural snow formation resembles the sacred Hindu symbol ‘Om,’ but also includes visits to significant sites such as Parvati Kund and the mystical Bheem ki Kheti. Spanning six days, this yatra takes travelers through a mix of challenging mountain roads and divine landscapes, culminating in moments of spiritual fulfillment and natural wonder.

Day 1: Kathgodam to Pithoragarh

Day 2: Pithoragarh to Gunji/Nabi via Dharchula

- Driving Time: 7-8 hours
- Route Highlights: Depart from Pithoragarh and journey to Gunji/Nabi through the town of Dharchula. Dharchula, located on the banks of the Kali River, is where pilgrims stop to collect permits. The drive involves navigating narrow roads with views of deep river gorges and soaring peaks.
Day 3: Gunji/Nabi to Navidhang and back to Gunji/Nabi
- Altitude (Navidhang): 4,300 m / 14,100 ft
- Driving Distance (One way): 25 km
- Driving Time: 2-3 hours
- Route Highlights: This leg takes you to Navidhang, a point known for offering the first view of Om Parvat. The road conditions are rugged, adding an element of adventure. After spending time soaking in the sacred sights and capturing photographs, return to Gunji/Nabi for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Gunji/Nabi to Jolingkong and back to Gunji/Nabi
- Altitude (Jolingkong): 4,420 m / 14,500 ft
- Driving Distance (One way): 20-25 km
- Route Highlights: Begin the day’s drive to Jolingkong, where the holy Parvati Kund awaits. The road passes through Kuti village and continues through rugged mountain terrain. After a 500 m trek from Jolingkong, visit Parvati Kund and nearby sites like Bheem ki Kheti. A 2 km trek leads to Gauri Kund for those seeking an extended visit. Return to Gunji/Nabi by evening.
Day 5: Gunji/Nabi to Chaukori
- Driving Distance: 180 km
- Driving Time: 7-8 hours
- Route Highlights: Depart from Gunji/Nabi and head towards Chaukori, a tranquil hill station known for its panoramic views of the Himalayas. Enjoy the lush green landscapes and serene environment before reaching Chaukori for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Chaukori to Kathgodam via Patal Bhuvaneshwar
- Driving Distance: 230 km
- Driving Time: 8-9 hours
- Route Highlights: The final leg of the journey includes a visit to the mystical Patal Bhuvaneshwar cave temple, famous for its intricate limestone formations. Continue the scenic drive back to Kathgodam, where the yatra concludes.
